 Stevenage - Health and Safety Manager £Excellent + Car + benefits 

We are currently looking far a Health and Safety Manager to provide professional support, advice and guidance on occupational health, safety and welfare matters to all members of Caswell Group to promote action to assist the Group in meeting its obligations under Health and Safety legislation.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

1. Provide professional advice and day to day management of all Health, Safety, Occupational Health and Welfare matters at all levels to Caswell Group. 

2. Provide/review site specific risk assessments and hazard monitoring for all Caswell Group activities.

3. Undertake site/workplace inspections and audits of working conditions and practices and producing written reports with recommendations for eliminating or controlling hazards. 

4. Develop and implement adequate and appropriate training programmes for managers and staff 

5. Provide, through the development and review of Health and Safety Policy, the Health and Safety strategic action plan.  

The successful applicant will hold relevant Health and Safety qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH diploma) and have experience of leading Health and Safety Management within a similar sized company ideally within the construction/asbestos/demolition field.He/She will have a track record of providing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements and undertaking site visits/audits together with recommendation and implementation of preventative/corrective actions.
